DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE RATES?

Yes, our fees are reduced for Students, Benefit Recipients and those on Low Income.

HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?

Each session lasts 50 minutes.

WILL MY SESSION BE CONFIDENTIAL?

Everything discussed in your session will be confidential. We adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework regarding confidentiality and this will be explained to you prior to your session. Any notes of our sessions will be kept securely stored inline with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018.

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED AND HOW OFTEN?

This vary's according to each person's circumstances. We can agree to an initial number of sessions and then review your progress as we go. You will not have more or less sessions than you need and we will agree this together.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I'M LATE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

If for any reason you cannot attend your appointment on time, please call to let me know that you are being delayed. It may not be possible for you to have the full 50 minutes of your session, however, due to the clients booked in after you.

WHAT IF I CANNOT ATTEND MY APPOINTMENT?

If for any reason you cannot attend your appointment, please call to let us know and we can arrange another time for you.

 WHEN AND HOW DO I PAY FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

You can pay for your appointment when you book over the phone. If this is not possible then you can make a cash or card payment. You can also pay for a block of sessions if you wish.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR THERAPY TO 'WORK'?

Therapy is a process which takes time, dependent on each person and what is going on for them. Whether you have many sessions or just a few, we will review them to see how you're therapy is progressing.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED/WHERE WILL MY THERAPY TAKE PLACE?

We are based in Southsea, Portsmouth. We can arrange to meet at another suitable location if necessary.

I'M DISABLED, HOW DO I ACCESS YOUR SERVICE?

Unfortunately, our counselling room is not accessible for wheelchairs. For clients with wheelchairs, we can arrange an alternative location that is accessible for you.

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?

Yes, we have Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance.
